Clare studied Law at Downing College, Cambridge, Fine Art at Harrogate College and Portraiture at the Charles Cecil Studio, Florence.
Clare loves to take inspiration from travels; recently producing work following trips to India, Burma and Colombia. She endeavours to capture the atmosphere of her subject whilst developing her interest in colour.
Clare has exhibited widely and has been a gallery artist at Cricket Fine Art, Chelsea since 2004. She has had several successful Solo Shows at Cricket Fine Art and in 2021 her first Solo Show at the Brian Sinfield Gallery, Burford. She has completed numerous works on commission.
